What happens in sessions

Each session is hands-on. You'll work directly with audio software, listen critically, ask questions, and build on what you learned the week before. The pace is relaxed and the group stays small so there's plenty of room to work at your own speed.

Topics rotate across the programme and are guided partly by what participants want to explore — whether that's music production, sound design for games, podcast editing, or just understanding how audio works.

About Robbie

Robbie has spent five years teaching audio to NDIS participants through Autism Queensland — so this isn't a new context for him. He knows how to pace a session, when to step back, and how to make technical material feel approachable to all skill levels.

His broader audio background includes six years in live sound, two in recording studios, and several finished games working as a sound designer.

His focus is on practical skills and real-life workflows, built for what each group actually wants to explore.

Who this is for

This programme is designed specifically for young neurodivergent people aged 15–25 who have an interest in audio — or think they might. Sessions are structured with clear expectations and predictable formats.

NDIS funding: These sessions are aimed at self-funded NDIS participants seeking assistance toward Capacity Building. Your NDIS plan needs to include funding under Improved Daily Living. Plan-managed NDIS participants are still encouraged to get in touch.
